Lack of Posting

I know. . . life has gotten so busy.  So I am now posting on Instagram.  Wyostarbucks.  It is a private account, but I will approve you. . well most of you.  ;)   I can do that on my phone while I sit at volleyball, soccer, swim, flag football, girl scouts etc . . . .

Blake

My nephew Blake (my sister's son) (our house guest this summer) ran cross country again this year. He did outstanding all year long.  The state meet was on Halloween.  Blake came down with a cold. Everyone was so stressed out.  Blake never gets sick.  He is the healthiest person I know.  He weighs and steams his broccoli every day, no processed junk etc. ..  Anyway everyone was freaked out that morning.  But it didn't matter. . . he placed 10th in the State in 5A the biggest classification in Colorado.  One of his goal was to get on the podium and he did it.  We got to see him 4 times on the course. . talk about a workout.  Cheer and sprint to the next spot.

Blake running through the creek.  I was right after the creek.  I was counting the places and I could have died when I saw him in the top ten still with just a little bit to go.

The team got 2nd place.  Blake's team are the lambkins so Jade dressed up as a lamb.

It was such an amazing experience to watch him do so well.  You can see how happy he is in the pictures. I told him that morning, no excuses mind over matter.  This is your last chance. He did it. So proud. Well Sunday Jenny took him to urgent care and he had a sinus infection.  He is now on the mend.  He will run one more time at Nike Southwest Nationals in Arizona in a couple of weeks.  I can't to see what he can do there healthy.

Happiest Place on Earth

It is the happiest place on Earth.  We spent three days at Disney World.

 We arrived from  Anna Maria Sat. at noon.  We got checked in and went swimming.  The Caribbean Beach resort has water slides.  That was a big hit.  Jade got a make-over the first night then we went out to eat Downtown Disney.

Jade saved her money for 9 months to get the Cinderella wedding dress.

We spent the second day at Magic Kingdom.  Justin and Jase spent all morning on all the roller coasters.  My four year old is an adrenaline junkie.  Jade and I greeted princess and went on smaller rides.

The second day we had breakfast at another resort, then went to Hollywood Studios.

We ate at the Fifty's diner.  It was AMAZING!!

Do you see who is missing?  Justin. . .   He had to leave about half way through our day at Hollywood Studios to go on a work trip.  The kids and I finished out the day then we drove back to Tampa and flew out the next day.  So where did he go?  Guesses?

Australia. . .It was the shortest trip ever (48 hours he was down under). . but he got to see some stuff like the Sydney Opera House.

Anyway, we had an amazing trip.  I though this was our last year in Florida. .totally rethinking.  Best trip ever.

Legoland

So in the middle of our island stay, we went to Legoland.  We even stayed there a night.  The resort only opened in May.  It was fabulous!!  The kids had their own bunk beds in their own area.  I booked the pirate room.

You have to solve clues to open the treasure in the room which was small legos.

The lobby area is amazing, there is even a bar attached to the play area for the parents.  Brilliant!!! One surprise for Jade was her teacher and her kids were at Legoland.  So we spent the first night with them.

The park is amazing.  The Star Wars part was unreal.

Jase loved all the roller coasters.  Jade not so much. We rode them all day.  Jase just giggles on them. So odd.

Fall Break

Yes another Fall Break in Florida.  This year was our best year yet.  The house we rented was 2 houses from the beach.

The house also had a pool.  So mornings at the pool and afternoons and sunsets at the beach.

Snow Crab season starts 2 days before we get there.  It is amazing.  There are 2 fresh fish markets in the area we go buy crab, shrimp etc. . and cook.

One of the best things we did was take a kayak tour.  It was FABULOUS!!  The kids loved it.  Definitely  a work out for Justin and me.  We had to cancel 2 other times because of the wind, and barely got our tour in the third time.

I thought this was our last year going there. . . rethinking.  We love it there.  I love it when my kids recognize things from the previous year.
